As a devoted fan of Saturday Night Live and Elon Musk, I’ve got to say, this latest drama has left me feeling like a Tesla on autopilot with no clear destination!
Elon Musk faced criticism on TikTok, then reacted with a questionable tweet. Chloe Fineman from Saturday Night Live shared that Musk caused her to cry during his hosting stint in 2021. On November 11, she revealed on TikTok (before it was deleted) that she was the cast member he made cry and that he was the host who brought tears to someone’s eyes. This reference was made to a comment by Bowen Yang on Watch What Happens Live about the worst SNL host being one who made someone cry. Fineman explained that she worked all night writing a sketch, only to have Musk scrutinize her as if firing her from Tesla when she presented it. She then imitated Musk, saying “It’s not funny.” However, the sketch did make it into the show, and Fineman added that she thought he was quite amusing in it.
As I’m accustomed to doing, I shared my thoughts on platform X, saying, “To be honest, it wasn’t until the day before the show that any of the sketches elicited laughter. I was concerned that my appearance on SNL would be so unfunny it would sober a crackhead! Fortunately, things turned out better than expected.” Now, let me be frank – while many remember my performance as Wario, it wasn’t necessarily because they were laughing with me.
