As a dedicated fan of heartwarming holiday tunes and Hallmark Channel movies, I can hardly contain my excitement for Jaymes Vaughan’s latest Christmas singles! The fact that he performed them on board a Christmas Cruise hosted by his very own husband, Jonathan Bennett, just adds an extra layer of charm to the whole experience.
On November 8th, Jaymes Vaughan unveiled two fresh Christmas tunes, performing them during Hallmark’s Christmas voyage aboard the Norwegian Gem. Notably, this singer is wed to Jonathan Bennett, an actor and producer for Hallmark, who also acted as the inaugural cruise’s host.
On the last evening of the cruise, Vaughan sang “It’s Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas” and “Home for the Holiday”, with Bennett, Tyler Hynes, Brooke D’Orsay, Ashley Williams, Will Kemp, B.J. Britt, Heather Hemmens, Kristoffer Polaha, Rachel Boston, Brendan Penny, and Hunter King providing a lively dance performance as back-up on stage.
Following the show, it was revealed that “Home for the Holiday” would appear in “Season’s Greetings from Cherry Lane,” which is scheduled to air on Hallmark+ on December 5th.
In the upcoming film “Cherry Lane,” Bennett shares the screen with Annabelle Bourke, Corey Cott, Sarah Dugdale, Shannon Kook, and Vincent Rodriguez III. This movie is one of three follow-ups to the 2023 blockbuster, revisiting 7 Cherry Lane to explore various families who resided there over a span of 70 years, with each installment focusing on distinct time periods in its history.
