Pokémon GO Into the Wild Event: Start Date, Featured Pokemon, Special Research & More

As a dedicated Pokémon GO trainer with years of experience under my belt and countless hours spent catching ’em all, I can’t help but get excited about the upcoming Into the Wild event! This November, we’re not just celebrating one, but TWO events – Harvest Festival and Into the Wild, followed by the 2024 Wild Area celebration.


As a dedicated gamer, I’m always excited for the next big thing in Pokémon GO! This November, we’ve got not one but two events to look forward to – the Harvest Festival and the Into the Wild event leading up to the 2024 Wild Area celebration. Here are the details about the upcoming Pokémon GO Into the Wild event: which Pokémon will be in the spotlight, what you can get with paid tickets, and which Pokémon you might encounter in the wild. Into the Wild Start & End Dates

The “Into the Wild” event is scheduled from the night of 18th November (midnight local time) until the night of 22nd November (again, midnight local time).

Into the Wild Pokemon Debut

At the Into the Wild gathering, you’ll get your first glimpse of the exciting newcomer, Toxel! Excitingly, players can incubate Toxel from an egg that requires a 10 km distance to hatch, and there’s even a chance to find Shiny variants of Toxels too!

Into the Wild Paid Tickets & Bonuses

Paid tickets offer both Hatch bonuses and Raid bonuses.

Paid In-depth Studies: Conducting Raids will set you back $5.00 USD (or its equivalent in your local currency). Daily, trainers will be granted Time-bound Research offering the following fundamental advantages:

  • 20 Poké Balls
  • 1,000 XP
  • 2,000 Stardust
  • 3 Toxel Candy
  • 1 Toxel Candy XL

The Raids pack specifically also includes these benefits:

  • Up to 2 free Raid Passes per day by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms
  • 5,000 additional XP from completed raids
  • 1 additional Candy from Pokémon in four-star, five-star, Mega, Ultra Beast, and Primal Raids

Paid Research: Hatch offers the same base bonuses as the Raids pass, but also these bonuses:

  • Increased chance of hatching Toxel from 10 km Eggs
  • 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance
  • 2× Hatch Stardust
  • 2× Hatch XP
  • 2× Hatch Candy
  • 1 single-use Incubator per day from spinning PokéStops

Into the Wild: Raids

During this special occasion, specific Pokémon will show up in Raids. Notably, Pokémon appearing in five-star raids daily will additionally feature in a Raid Hour, which takes place between 6 PM and 7 PM based on your local time, for just one day during the event.

Five-Star Raids: Wednesday, November 20

Five-Star Raids: Thursday, November 21

Five-Star Raids: Friday, November 22

  • Origin Forme Palkia

During the entire duration of the event, participants can enjoy Event Perks such as a boosted Remote Raid Pass limit for certain days and no cap on other days. Additionally, on November 18th, there’s a higher probability of obtaining Rare Candy XL from Max Battles when facing off against Dynamax Drilbur.
