Subsequently, she pointed out that within the Democratic party, there are growing signs of public finger-pointing regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’ perceived electoral setback.
Alyssa Farah Griffin suggests a key lesson for Democrats isn’t ‘We didn’t lean left enough,’ but instead focuses on the fact that they lost support in rural areas and among working-class voters. She further explains that the electorate is primarily worried about their immediate financial struggles, rather than broader national issues.

As a devoted cinema-goer, let me share my perspective: Democrats have been the ones to enact legislations such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, labor protections, unemployment insurance, and Obamacare. However, it seems like the Republican Party doesn’t seem to care much about these issues. The only thing I can surmise is that perhaps the message hasn’t been effectively communicated. People aren’t fully grasping what’s at stake.
Sara Haines expressed that the manner in which Democrats address their constituents can come off as patronizing, stating, “The crux of my argument is not to criticize Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, but rather to point out a problematic communication strategy within the Democratic party.” She went on to explain that the Democrats have been concentrating on matters that are not relevant and have failed to grasp what the public wants from their leaders.
She explained that people didn’t support him due to his alleged racism or misogyny, but instead, it was because they required assistance with their daily struggles, and that was the reason for their vote.
Behar remarked, ‘Is it likely that someone would openly admit they’re a racist or misogynist during an exit poll? I seriously doubt it.’
