Title Day: Evolve, a fresh prequel narrative unfolds 14 years prior to the initial Gears of War, depicting Marcus and Dom as young soldiers under the Coalition of Ordered Governments. The tranquil planet Sera is enjoying a period of peace when, on an ominous day known as Emergence Day, the Locust Horde invades, threatening to annihilate all human life on the planet. In this game, we’re also introduced to a new city, Kalona, which plays a significant role in the game’s storyline.

The Coalition is working on a new installment of Gears of War, tentatively titled “Gears of War: E-Day,” and there’s no set release date as of now. It seems the game will primarily be available for Xbox Series X|S consoles, although whispers suggest Gears of War might also appear on PlayStation 5. Although Cliff Bleszinski, the original creator of the series, has moved on from it, he’s expressed his approval for a potential release on PS5.
