JiDion shuts down streamers who claim streaming is harder than working a real job

As someone who has spent years juggling multiple jobs while trying to make ends meet, I can wholeheartedly agree with JiDion’s perspective. The uncertainty of whether you’ll have enough to put food on the table is a weight that streamers, no matter how successful, simply don’t carry.

Following several content creators debating the idea that streaming is more challenging than traditional employment, JiDion offered his perspective to refute these assertions.

Over time, numerous Twitch broadcasters have expressed their opinions regarding streaming compared to conventional employment, with several asserting that full-time content production can be more challenging than a typical 9-5 job.

Previously, political streamer Hasan made a statement in February, which was promptly supported by OTK co-founder Asmongold. The discussion resurfaced again several months later when FaZe Clan members Max and Lacy revisited it, leading to criticism from viewers.

Creators often argue that the constant need to amuse audiences, travel for events, and other streaming-related tasks create more stress than maintaining a traditional job does.

On Thursday, November 7, YouTube personality JiDion refuted these assertions decisively by stating that maintaining a traditional 9-5 job is more challenging than streaming full-time.

A 9-5 job is more challenging, there’s no denying it. The constant worry about making ends meet often outweighs the stress a wealthy streamer experiences. While there are aspects that might be tougher, I think everyone would prefer our situation – none of us would ever volunteer to return to the daily grind,” he expressed in his post.

Working a traditional 9-5 job is undeniably challenging. The constant worry about making ends meet often overshadows any stress experienced by high-profile streamers. Granted, there may be certain aspects that they find difficult, but most people would gladly take our situation over theirs, as none of us are ever truly content with it.

Many users swarmed to comment on his post, expressing their opinions, and a large number of them concurred with his stance.

“This shouldn’t even be a conversation tbh,” one user commented.

One individual commented: “Being a streamer can potentially be stressful, yet the level of stress is largely dependent on you.

A third person responded, saying, “As I’ve always been honest, some people seem to think they deserve something once they’ve achieved success.

JiDion isn’t the initial influential figure to express doubts about the idea that streaming is more challenging than a conventional job. In fact, back in March, Pokimane voiced her thoughts on this topic during one of her live streams.

She stated, “Streaming is definitely not one of the most challenging jobs out there; in fact, it’s quite simple. To be absolutely certain, I want to emphasize that streaming isn’t a tough job.
