As a fervent admirer of the arts and the incredible journeys that lead talented individuals to their craft, I am simply thrilled by the latest additions to the cast of “Deliver Me From Nowhere.” The sheer wealth of experience these actors bring to the table is nothing short of astounding.
Actors Marc Maron, Gaby Hoffmann, and David Krumholtz are now part of the cast for Jeremy Allen White’s upcoming Bruce Springsteen biography movie titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere.
Maron assumes the role of Chuck Plotkin, the music producer who refined Springsteen’s “Nebraska” album from rough cassette demos into a top-notch recording. Hoffmann takes on the character of Adele Springsteen, Springsteen’s mother, who was a talented singer and passed away this year at the age of 98. Krumholtz portrays Al Teller, the record label executive responsible for releasing “Nebraska.
20th Century Studios’ upcoming film, titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” chronicles Bruce Springsteen as he works on his 1982 album “Nebraska.” This record, characterized by a more minimalistic approach, represented a significant creative departure from the grandiose sound of his previous albums like “Born to Run” and “The River.” Filming for this movie is ongoing in New Jersey and New York. Interestingly, Springsteen himself is part of the film’s production process, and he recently paid a visit to the set where he was seen embracing director Bob White.
Scott Cooper directs the movie ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere,’ which is adapted from Warren Zanes’ book of the same name. The film stars Jeremy Strong portraying Jon Landau, Springsteen’s long-term manager, alongside Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Stephen Graham, Johnny Cannizzaro, and Harrison Gilbertson.
Marc Maron, who is a comedian, actor, and the host of the popular podcast “WTF With Marc Maron,” has acted in various productions such as Netflix’s series “Glow,” “To Leslie,” and “The Bad Guys.” Upcoming projects featuring him include an untitled golf comedy on Apple TV+ with Owen Wilson, and Justin Kurzel’s crime thriller titled “The Order.
Jennifer Hoffmann, who first made her mark as a young actor in films like “Field of Dreams,” “Uncle Buck,” and “Sleepless in Seattle,” came back to the screen acting world in 2007 and went on to land parts in “C’mon C’mon,” “Transparent,” “Louie,” and “Girls.
Krumholtz is an actor who has gained recognition for his roles in movies like “Oppenheimer” and “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs”. His resume also features appearances in “Slums of Beverly Hills”, CBS’ “Numb3rs”, Disney+’s “The Santa Clause”, and soon, you can catch him in A24’s horror movie “Altar”.
Maron, Hoffmann, and Krumholtz are all represented by different talent agencies. Maron’s representatives include Independent Artists Group, Avalon, 42West, and Brecheen Feldman Breimer. On the other hand, Hoffmann is represented by Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, The Gersh Agency, and Peikoff Mahan Law. Lastly, Krumholtz is represented by Sarah Fargo at Paradigm and Laura Wilkinson at Brookside Artist Management.
