As a seasoned Phasmophobia player with countless hours under my belt and ghostly encounters that would give even the bravest of souls chills, I must say the Blood Moon event has me absolutely thrilled! The community-driven approach to unlocking rewards is a refreshing change from the usual individual grind. It’s like we’re all in this haunted mansion together, working towards our common goal.
The Blood Moon event in Phasmophobia has commenced, offering an exciting experience for both console and PC gamers as they hunt ghosts. Players can amass Blood Moon points by capturing images of Blood Moon Totems, accurately identifying spirits, among other activities. Here’s a rundown of the rewards associated with the Phasmophobia Blood Moon event and instructions on how to claim them.
Phasmophobia Blood Moon Rewards
During the Blood Moon occurrence, various rewards can be obtained, but it’s essential to understand that the entire community must work together to achieve them. This means that although your individual actions help progress towards the common objective, you won’t be able to claim these rewards individually. Instead, you’ll have to wait until the community as a whole has successfully reached its goal.
Here are all of the community rewards players can earn:
- Stage 1: Blood Moon ID Card (Already Unlocked)
- Stage 2: Upgraded ID Card
- Stage 3: Blood Moon Trophy, permanently unlock possibility of Blood Moon weather
Advancing to Stage 3 not only grants the Blood Moon Trophy, but it will also permanently enable the Blood Moon atmosphere (currently only available during events on designated maps). This weather condition increases ghost activity and aggression, while boosting reward earnings by an extra 10% at the conclusion of a ghost-hunting expedition.
Currently, at this point in time, players have managed to unveil the Blood Moon ID card. As more players continue their journey through the event and contribute to the collective progress, we aim to advance to Stages 2 and 3. To keep track of the current progress, simply glance at the freshly updated Event Board situated near the van in the lobby area.
How To Redeem Blood Moon Rewards
To claim the Blood Moon prizes you’ve already earned, make your way to the game’s main menu and approach the Blood Moon pedestal, where you’ll find a rotating blood moon. By interacting with it, your rewards will be automatically applied without any additional confirmation – just listen for a sound cue as your proof that they’ve been granted!
Absolutely, during this event, you’ll receive the perks that the community has already activated. To maximize your benefits, you might find yourself visiting the Altar several times along the way.
