Fousey taken to Australian mental health facility after Kick ban for fighting manager

As a gamer with years of experience following online personalities, this recent turn of events involving Fousey is truly heart-wrenching. His struggle with mental health issues has been well-documented, and it seems like he’s hitting a rough patch once again. It’s disheartening to see someone I admired for his creativity and humor deal with such challenges.

As reported in a video posted on X, internet personality Fousey was admitted to a mental health facility in Australia.

On November 1st, I found myself in a peculiar situation – getting handcuffed by the Aussie cops and whisked away to a mental health facility, all while live-streaming it on my Twitter/X account. Quite an experience!

In a different phrasing: “I’m being given a sedative right now. I have such deep affection for you. When I came to, it was as if there were lights shining in my eyes. He told me that due to my actions, I was putting myself and others at risk of harm. He informed me that I was under arrest,” he stated in the recording.

In a follow-up post, he stated that he went 24 hours without sleeping and “was losing myself.”

I repeatedly warned them that if I didn’t catch up on sleep, I’d go 24 hours without rest – something everyone knows isn’t good for my mental wellbeing. Despite our previous assurance, this situation occurred. As I lay there sleeping, I recalled your promise that this wouldn’t transpire.

Yesterday evening, around 9pm, I arrived home, feeling drained after staying awake for an entire day. I confided in you that I was on the verge of exhaustion, had gone without sleep for 24 hours, and was struggling to maintain myself. All I needed was rest, and I believed you would appreciate my need for it. However, this morning at 11am, I was abruptly awakened by a dozen police officers armed with cameras and guns, who took me into custody.

Three days ago, this event occurred, following the suspension from Kick that he received due to a violent confrontation with his manager during a live stream in Australia.

Before Fousey landed a punch, which struck his manager on the side of the head, there was a heated verbal disagreement between them.

Immediately following the release of Fousey’s arrest video, a woman publicly stated that the authorities took him in for a psychiatric assessment, as there were accusations that he had endangered the lives of his colleagues by making threats against them.

Contrary to some reports, Fousey wasn’t arrested. The incident occurred not at 11 am but at 10:30 pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time). I want to make it clear that I’m not apologizing. I believe he requires help and the people surrounding him should be kept safe,” she stated.

Fousey wasn’t taken into custody. The incident occurred not at 11am, but at 10:30pm AEST. I’m not expressing regret. He requires assistance and those around him should be protected.

TopMob conversed with a woman, who verified herself as an Australian liaison for Fousey’s group. She provided assistance whenever necessary during her stay in the country.

This comes just weeks after Fousey ‘disappeared,’ and claimed he was going to be sent to a mental care facility back in October.
