New Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 XP Farming Trick Turns You Into A Terrible Teammate

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming experience under my belt, I find myself both amused and dismayed by the recent discovery in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The notion that blindly flashbanging teammates for XP is not only a testament to the game’s unintended quirks but also a reflection of the human desire to exploit systems for personal gain.

In the game Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, players have found an unusual tactic: throwing flashbang grenades to temporarily blind their teammates results in earning 15 XP. This strategy, however, fosters poor teamwork and cooperation.

YouTube content creator Expel uploaded a clip showcasing an XP advantage in game X, noting that using flashbang grenades on fellow players “earns you experience points” and encouraging viewers to interpret the information as they see fit. The on-screen UI reads “Enemy Flashed,” suggesting this may be an unforeseen perk for displaying poor teamwork.

Repeating the action of ‘flashbanging’ your teammates in Black Ops 6 grants you Experience Points (XP).

Grinding for progression and prestige is a core tenet of Black Ops 6, on top of the rewards and unlockables in multiplayer. As such, there will always be players looking for easy ways to level up. For instance, the original Destiny famously had a loot cave for farming a decade ago, when people mindlessly shot at a cavern for hours on end. That exploit was addressed but ended up leading to an in-game dungeon acknowledging the loot cave.

A week ago, Black Ops 6 was released and broke previous records for debuts. The latest addition to the First-Person Shooter series had the highest three-day opening weekend in terms of total players, hours played, and total matches for Call of Duty. Furthermore, the launch of Black Ops 6 resulted in an incredibly active day at Call of Duty Headquarters, the app that hosts the game along with Warzone and Modern Warfare 3. On October 28th, more than half of all Xbox Series X|S owners visited Call of Duty HQ, while over a third of PS5 owners did so as well.

Today sees the arrival of the legendary Nuketown multiplayer map in Black Ops 6. This is the classic battlefield from Black Ops, set in the ’50s and not a revamped version as we might expect. Moving forward, it’s been confirmed that Season 1 for Black Ops 6 will kick off on November 14.
