Call Of Duty: Black Op 6's Nuketown Map Is Live With Double XP

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that Treyarch’s latest move has left me feeling like a kid in a candy store – or rather, a grown-up gamer in a virtual battleground! The return of Nuketown in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is like a warm, nostalgic hug from my gaming past. I can almost hear the echoes of gunfire and laughter as I navigate through the iconic map’s familiar layout.

A week has passed since Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was launched, boasting 16 fresh multiplayer maps. However, developer Treyarch has swiftly added the classic map Nuketown to the game. This update also features a temporary double XP event. Here’s a rundown of all the new additions.

In Black Ops 6, Nuketown has made a return, featuring the classic 1950s layout that was first seen in Black Ops 1 from 2010. The main change is an upgrade to the graphics. Fans of the map should find it familiar as many aspects, such as the design and even the double rainbow in the distance, have been meticulously recreated to match the original version.

As a devoted gamer, I can tell you that this updated version sticks closely to the original blueprint of the map, right down to the specific locations where cars are parked and the nostalgic three-lane setup, echoing the authentic feel of the classic design.

Players get to rejoice as their beloved map makes a comeback, along with an added bonus of doubled experience points (XP). This boost applies not only to player advancement and weapon leveling but also to the earning rates for Gobblegum in the Zombies mode. This temporary double XP promotion will take place from November 1st to the 4th.

On November 14th, we’ll witness the debut of Season 1, where elements from Black Ops 6, including its content and gameplay mechanics, will be merged into Warzone. Additionally, a brand-new Resurgence map titled Area 99 will be introduced.
