As an ardent fan, I am absolutely thrilled to witness the continued success story of Ms. Pat Williams! Her journey from a convict to a suburban mother, as depicted in “The Ms. Pat Show,” is not just a testament to her resilience but also serves as a beacon of hope for countless individuals out there. The fact that this show is based on her real-life experiences makes it even more compelling and relatable.

The TV series ‘Ms. Pat Show’ has been given the green light for a fifth season by BET+. Co-creator and lead actress, Patricia ‘Ms. Pat’ Williams, has also expanded her contract with BET Media Group, now encompassing both linear and streaming projects.

The television sitcom is modeled after the real-life experiences of Ms. Pat, as detailed in her book “Rabbit: The Autobiography of Ms. Pat.” It follows her journey from a former criminal with a history of drug dealing in Atlanta, to becoming a suburban mother. For Season 5, main cast members Williams, J. Bernard Calloway, Tami Roman, Vince Swann, Briyana Guadalupe, Theodore John Barnes and Brittany Inge are set to reprise their roles.

Work on the fifth season of “The Ms. Pat Show” is set to begin in February 2025. As of now, a specific air date for this upcoming season hasn’t been announced, but the fourth season premiered back in May 2024.

Previously, Williams secured a multi-year contractual agreement with BET in the year 2022. The debut project under this contract was the reality courtroom show titled “Ms. Pat Settles It,” which premiered its second installment on BET in July.

Produced by Williams and Jordan E. Cooper, “The Ms. Pat Show” focuses on a contemporary African-American family, delving into current societal and cultural matters including abortion, personal pronouns, school violence, racial prejudice, and substance abuse.

The executive producers of “The Ms. Pat Show” are Williams, Cooper, Patrick Walsh, Lee Daniels, Brian Grazer, Deb Evans, Jon Radler, Natalie Berkus, and Mary Lou Belli, with the latter also serving as a director on the series. This series is brought to you by Imagine Television, DaeLight Media, and Lee Daniels Entertainment.

Williams is represented by Independent Artist Group, Tigerman Management and Garrett Legal.
