As a seasoned gamer with years of Call of Duty under my belt, I can say that this latest AR saga is as predictable as a script from a cheesy action movie. The XM4 and Model L are causing chaos in the multiplayer world, yet they’re banned in the pros’ league. It’s like having a Ferrari on the race track but only allowed to drive it on a quiet side street.
In under a week, experts in the Call of Duty League managed to ban both the Model L and XMG due to their overpowering status, yet this ban doesn’t stop players from deploying these powerful ARs in conventional Multiplayer contests.
In Battlefield 6, we found the XM4 to be the top AR due to its outstanding rate of fire and high damage output. Although the AK-74 and AS VAL may kill enemies quicker, the XM4 boasts a more manageable recoil pattern, making it easier to control.
It may surprise you that the Model L seems quite formidable on paper, but its performance is not as impressive in practice. In terms of time-to-kill speed, the AR falls in the average range, while for its class it has the slowest fire rate and bullet velocity, and only slightly faster than the worst when aiming down the sight.
Regardless of other factors, the Model L excels significantly in mid-range and long-distance combat, boasting a remarkable 300-millisecond kill time for targets up to 51 meters away. Expert players can take down opponents with just three shots, regardless of their location.
