Andrew Santino Sets New Comedy Special at Hulu

As a seasoned movie critic with over two decades of industry experience under my belt, I must say that Andrew Santino‘s career trajectory is nothing short of impressive. From his humble beginnings on Adam DeVine’s “House Party” to gracing the stages of “Conan,” “The Meltdown,” and now Hulu’s esteemed “Hularious” lineup, it’s safe to say that Santino is a comedic force to be reckoned with.


Comedian, actor, and podcast host Andrew Santino (known for “Whiskey Ginger” and “Bad Friends” with Bobby Lee) has planned his upcoming stand-up special on the streaming platform Hulu.

The one-hour comedy block is now part of the streaming service’s “Hilarious” collection, showcasing a star-studded cast that features Bill Burr, Chris Distefano, Jim Gaffigan, Ilana Glazer, Jessica Kirson, Matteo Lane, Sebastian Maniscalco, Atsuko Okatsuka, and Roy Wood Jr.

Although Santino’s special release date hasn’t been set yet, the “Hularious” series premieres on November 22. It showcases a variety of stand-up specials that have previously been released and are licensed from distributors like 800 Pound Gorilla, Comedy Dynamics, Don’t Tell Comedy, and others.

In 2015, Santino unveiled both a half-hour Comedy Central stand-up special and his first album titled “Say No More.” His initial stand-up performance took place on Adam DeVine’s “House Party,” and since then he has appeared on “Conan” and “The Meltdown.

In the year 2018, Santino’s comedy special titled “Home Field Advantage” was premiered on Amazon Prime Video, while his most recent hour-long act, named “Cheeseburger,” made its debut on Netflix in the year 2023.

Apart from his fame, he is recognized for his performances in the FX sitcom “Dave,” alongside Lil Dicky, as well as the comedy movie “Ricky Stanicky” which featured John Cena and Zac Efron. His work portfolio expands to include roles in the series “I’m Dying Up Here,” produced by Jim Carrey, and the Netflix acclaimed anthology series “Beef.” Santino can also be seen in films like “The Disaster Artist” and “Scrambled”; he starred in television shows such as “Sin City Saints,” “Mixology,” and “This Is Us”; and made appearances on various shows including “The Office,” “Arrested Development,” “The League,” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.
