As a long-time fan of “Saturday Night Live” (SNL), I am genuinely thrilled about the upcoming episodes with Bill Burr and Charli XCX in November. Having followed Bill Burr’s career since his stand-up days, it’s always a treat to see him on my screen. His unique comedy style never fails to make me laugh, and I can only imagine what he’ll bring to the table this time around. Plus, Mk.gee as the musical guest? Count me in!
Bill Burr and Charli XCX are set as hosts of “Saturday Night Live” going into November.
On November 9th, Bill Burr will take the helm of NBC’s long-standing comedy sketch series, marking the first episode following the U.S. Presidential election on November 5th. Interestingly, this will be Burr’s second time hosting “SNL”, as he previously did so in 2020. Currently, Bill Burr is touring with his live stand-up show, “Bill Burr Live”.
During Burr’s episode, Mk.gee will make an appearance as the musical guest. This will mark the artist’s initial visit to “Saturday Night Live.” Right now, he’s touring globally to promote his first album titled “Two Star & The Dream Police.
On November 9th, Charli XCX will take on two roles – both host and musical performer for the episode. This marks her debut as a “SNL” host, but it’s her third time performing musically. Her latest release is the remix album titled “Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat.
This coming weekend, “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) returns with host John Mulaney and musical guest Chappell Roan. Right now, SNL is airing its 50th season on NBC, and to celebrate this milestone, they’ve planned a special weekend of episodes, wrapping up with a live primetime special on February 16.
In September, the season opener of “SNL” attracted its highest viewership for a premiere in four years, with approximately 5.3 million viewers tuning in according to Nielsen Live+Same Day ratings. The initial skit showcased Maya Rudolph playing Vice President Kamala Harris, Andy Samberg as Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, Jim Gaffigan portraying Governor Tim Walz, and Dana Carvey reprising his role as President Joe Biden.
On Saturdays, the show ‘Saturday Night Live’ airs, which is jointly made by Broadway Video. Lorne Michaels, its creator and main producer, oversees the production.
