24-year-old Angel DeJesus Rivera-Sanches was taken into custody on Monday, October 28, for allegedly abducting an influencer. He now faces kidnapping charges due to the missing person’s case.
On October 22, Rodriguez-Ramirez was most recently seen at a Walmart located in Cornelia, Georgia. Her fiancé claimed that she had gone there to sell a photograph to an individual.
At approximately 9:30 PM that evening, the TikTok user messaged her fiancé, “I’m just waiting for his brother to arrive and pick him up.
Her partner straight away thought the message was suspicious. “It just didn’t sound right,” he explained to Habersham News, “she doesn’t usually communicate in that manner.
Following her absence at home in the morning, her fiancé phoned her mother, and together they informed the authorities that she was missing.
Authorities discovered Rodriguez-Ramirez’s remains on Furniture Drive, a street neighboring the Walmart where she vanished. At present, her body is undergoing an autopsy at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Medical Examiner’s Office.
Onlookers claim they spotted a golden minivan and a black SUV repeatedly surrounding a TikToker in the Walmart parking area, however, officials have yet to clarify why she was present or if she had any connection to Rivera-Sanches.
