The Xbox App On PC Is Becoming Quicker And Easier To Use

As a seasoned gamer with decades of thumb-blistering, eye-straining, heart-racing experiences under my belt, I must say, Microsoft is really stepping up their game with this latest Xbox app update! The “jump back in” feature is a game-changer (pun intended), allowing me to pick up right where I left off without having to navigate through endless menus. And the personalized game recommendations? It’s like they’ve been reading my mind!

The latest version of the Xbox application for PC has been unveiled by Microsoft, but at present, it’s exclusive to Xbox Insiders. This update offers several improvements, including a seamless transition to the hub of recently played games, allowing users to dive straight into gameplay and effortlessly browse new additions.

The recent update introduces a function called “resume playing,” which was previously tested in May within the Game Pass tab interface. This function displays the last nine games you’ve played in a condensed view, enabling you to navigate directly to any game card, opening the game’s main hub and instantly resuming your gameplay.

In addition, a section on the home screen will display highlighted content such as fresh updates, upcoming game launches, and Game Pass features. This way, you can quickly access the latest noteworthy content upon opening the app.

On the Microsoft Store homepage, you’ll find bundled deals and discounts for games, along with a new feature that suggests games tailored to your preferences, all thanks to an upcoming update.

Over the course of the last year, Xbox has consistently rolled out updates. Notably, in June, an update was introduced that expanded the customization possibilities for user interfaces, allowing players to combine dynamic and game-related backgrounds at once.
