Jeremy Allen White Is the Boss in First Look at Bruce Springsteen Biopic ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’

As a lifelong fan of Bruce Springsteen and someone who’s spent countless hours immersed in his music, the news of Jeremy Allen White portraying The Boss in “Deliver Me From Nowhere” has me dancing in my seat with excitement. The raw, gritty authenticity that Scott Cooper brings to his projects is a perfect fit for the story of Nebraska, an album that’s been a companion on many of life’s ups and downs.

A sneak peek at Jeremy Allen White portraying Bruce Springsteen in the biographical film “Deliver Me From Nowhere” is out now, as filming begins.

Under the guidance and penmanship of Scott Cooper (“Crazy Heart”, “Hostiles”), the movie titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere” is based on Warren Zanes’ account of the creation process for Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 album, “Nebraska”. The film is scheduled to premiere in theaters next year.

Starting work on this film is a deeply humbling and exhilarating adventure for me,” Cooper stated. “Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Nebraska’ album has significantly influenced my artistic perspective. The raw, unpolished portrayal of life’s struggles and resilience in the music resonates strongly with me. Our goal is to replicate that same spirit on screen, bringing Warren Zanes’ captivating account of Bruce’s life to life with authenticity and optimism, while paying tribute to Bruce’s legacy through a transformative cinematic experience. It has been a privilege to work alongside Bruce and Jon [Landau] as we tell their story, and their creative drive powers every step of this project. Furthermore, I am looking forward to working with my friend David Greenbaum again, as he takes on his new role at Disney, adding another layer of motivation to this project.

Disney’s 20th Century Studios presents the film ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’, which is produced by Cooper in collaboration with The Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, known for ‘The Maze Runner’ series and ‘Juror #2’. Eric Robinson, who has worked on ‘Kodachrome’ and ‘Last Days’, also contributes to the production. Scott Stuber is another producer, having worked on films like ‘Frankenstein’, ‘Ted’, and ‘Safe House’. Tracey Landon, who recently collaborated with Cooper on ‘The Pale Blue Eye’, and Zanes are serving as executive producers.
