As a seasoned survivor of the zombie apocalypse, I’ve seen my fair share of chaos and carnage. But this mission, dear reader, is unlike anything I’ve ever encountered before! It’s a thrilling dance of strategy, quick reflexes, and a healthy dose of luck.

In response to the community’s feedback that Liberty Falls didn’t meet their visual expectations in Call of Duty Next, Treyarch made significant changes to give it a vibe similar to traditional Zombies maps, featuring a darker environment and a spookier ambiance.

In the final moments, changes made by Treyarch proved fruitful as a surge of gamers transitioned from Multiplayer to Zombies, inspired by exceptional feedback and praise.

Should you be preparing for a dive into Liberty Falls and aiming to accomplish the long-awaited Easter Egg hunt, here’s some essential information to help guide your journey. Buckle up, as we have plenty of details to share!

Black Ops 6 Zombies Liberty Falls Easter Egg explained

Reach the Hilltop Church

To get to Hilltop Church, we recommend following the steps below, it may be a long route around, but this gets you access to the Mystery box on the way:

1. Load into Liberty Falls and unlock the locked barrier between the ice cream and the Fast-forward shop.
2. Look for Olly’s shop and head around it, unlocking the gate in front of you.
3. Head up the stairs and keep going straight, up two flights of stairs shortly after.
4. Go straight on until you see a crafting bench then turn left past the building. Unlock the door in front.
5. Locate the front of the church and unlock the main entrance..

Interact with the machine in the church

1. Once inside the church, interact with a large machine on the right by pressing Square on PlayStation or X on Xbox
2. You will hear dialogue indicating that you interacted with the machine

Acquire a Jet Gun

The Thrustodyne M23 Wonder Weapon, known as the Jet Gun, can be found in a Mystery Box or crafted.

Mystery Box

The enigmatic Mystery Chest occasionally appears and costs 950 Essence for acquisition. Since the probability of discovering a Wonder Weapon is slim, you’ll probably need to open it multiple times before landing the Jet Gun. Moreover, there’s always a possibility that you’ll get a cuddly teddy bear instead, which will alter the position of the Mystery Chest.

How to craft the Jet Gun

Use the Jet Gun to acquire three LTG Device parts

1. Go back to the church and hold the interact button on the machine we mentioned earlier. A hat will appear on the balcony over the entrance to the church. Use the Jet gun to suck it in the hat.
2. Next, go back to Washington Avenue. Look for Buzz’s Cuts barbershop. Hop up on a vehicle and suck in an object from the right window over the barbershop.

1. Finally, go to the comic store near the front of the map and suck in an item located in the broken ceiling over the store counter.

Build the LTG Device

Glide across the zipline spanning Washington Avenue’s stores, all the way up to the bank rooftop, then search for the LTG Device Workbench situated beyond the zipline on the opposite side.

Use the LTG Device

1. Travel to the church and take an Aether Canister from the machine.
2. Carry the canister to the gas station near where you spawned it and place it next to one of the traps on the ground.

1. Place the LTG device on the ground and defend the area from zombies for 60 seconds.
2. An Abomination will spawn, and you need to capture it with the Aether Canister
3. Weaken the Abomination and finish it off while it is stunned by the trap near the Aether Canister and the canister will capture its essence

Use the Strauss Counter

1. Put the Aether Canister back into the machine in the church to get the Strauss Counter.
2. On the hill, in front of the bowling alley, a machine is in the grass.

1. Use the Strauss Counter in front of it by holding the button you would usually press for the Tactical equipment items.
2. Press the interact button to activate the machine.
3. Match the machine color with the Strauss Counter.

Locate two other machines

1. At the top of the street near the church there is a white house.
2. The second machine is in the backyard.

1. Use the Strauss Counter and match the colors.
2. The final machine is located on the Bank rooftop, which can be accessed via the zip-line.

Use the second Aether Canister

A second Aether Canister will pop out of the ground in the spawn area.

1. Pick up the LTG Device off the floor where you left it to capture the Abomination.
2. Put the Aether Canister next to a trap on the street leading up to the church.
3. Place the LTG Device on a marked location in the Graveyard.
4. Defend the area for 60 seconds.
5. Lead the Mangler that spawns over to the Aether Canister you placed down.
6. Kill the Mangler while its stunned by the trap and its essence will go into the Aether Canister
7. Deliver the Aether Canister to the machine

Gear up for the final fight

Once all three containers are placed inside the device, feel free to turn it on to initiate the final battle. Prior to engaging, consider upgrading your weapons using the Pack-a-Punch machine, enhancing weapon rarity through the Arsenal, purchasing better armor, and selecting any perks that could aid in survival.

When you feel assured, it’s time to set the machine in motion. Overcome three grueling waves of zombie attacks. During this assault, both a powerful Mangler and an abomination will appear.

After defeating every zombie, the easter egg will start. We won’t spoil what happens next.
