LoL streamer falls out of window, goes into coma & almost dies only to tier list his injuries

As a fan who has followed No Arm Whatley’s incredible journey, I am nothing short of amazed by his resilience and determination. Falling from a third story window and surviving with such severe injuries, only to come back stronger and funnier than ever, is a testament to the indomitable spirit that he possesses.

Following a fall from a third-story window that left him in a coma for several weeks, video game streamer No Arm Whatley astonishingly recovered and was discharged from the hospital.

The League of Legends streamer took a long an unexpected leave of absense, only to come back weeks later and reveal that he’d been in a coma. He was trying to close a window on the third story of a building, only for the window to break out of its frame.

He then fell out of the building with it, cracking his skull open and requiring a number of emergency surgeries to survive. Whatley was in a coma for two weeks and in the hospital for seven before being released.

He then tweeted that he “cannot f**king wait to play League of Legends” and created a tier list ranking his life-threatening injuries.

Discussing the circumstances that led to my coma and categorizing the injuries I sustained from a fall: In this account, I’ll explain how I ended up in a coma due to falling out of a faulty window that shattered as I was shutting it. Additionally, I’ll present an organized list and tiering of the various injuries I will discuss in detail in the video.

The full list Whatley put together explaining his injuries reads as follows:

S-Tier

  • Acute Subdural Hemotoma
  • 2 bleeds on brain
  • 2 contusions (bruises) on brain
  • I’m bald now

A-Tier

  • Viscous Hemorrhaging in right eye
  • Submacular Hemorrhaging in left eye

B-Tier

  • Fractured Pelvis
  • Fractured Spine
  • Broken Foot
  • Permanent loss of taste (maybe)

As a gamer, I’ve got a tale to share – one that’s not about leveling up or defeating bosses. Years ago, I encountered a challenge far more daunting than any game boss. Whatley, my friend, shared his story of traumatic brain injuries he endured. These weren’t your typical scrapes; they were brutal hits that caused internal bleeding in my skull. The situation got so severe that the doctors had to drill into my skull intentionally – yes, you heard it right – to alleviate the pressure caused by blood pooling in my brain, a condition known as Acute Subdural Hemotoma. It’s not a game, but it’s a battle I’ll never forget.

He underwent a procedure known as a craniotomy, which essentially involves breaking open the skull to alleviate pressure. This surgical process is quite intense, to put it mildly. For several weeks afterward, he was able to manipulate the fragments of his skull within his head. It was an extremely uncomfortable ordeal. Remarkably, despite everything, he managed to pull through. He described it as nothing short of miraculous that he retained most of his cognitive abilities post-surgery.

As a passionate follower recounting the story, I can confirm that, according to him, the brain injuries ranked supreme among the difficulties he faced, yet another challenge he singled out as truly exceptional was the onset of baldness.

Though these medical issues are severe, they’re equally tough on my social life. My hair loss isn’t just a health concern; it’s moved up to S-tier too. Being bald isn’t something I find enjoyable.

Despite the challenges he’s facing, Whatley manages to maintain a good sense of humor. He admits that he can still play the champion Yuumi at a moderate skill level, but due to his near total blindness, playing champions that demand considerable effort is currently beyond his reach.

Nevertheless, his brain’s internal bleeding seems to be the primary reason for his blindness, which might resolve spontaneously or require further operations. He’s optimistic about recuperating sufficiently to get back to playing League of Legends. While he’s hospitalized, he’s staying current with patch updates. In the interim, he intends to carry on streaming.
