His team members have undergone an unusual operation called the “severance process,” which employs advanced science to partition their memories, allowing them to separate work and personal life experiences. In Season 2, Mark starts to understand the repercussions of the experiment he and his colleagues initiated, aiming to breach the seclusion imposed by Severance.
