Tom Holland Says ‘Spider-Man 4’ Starts Shooting Next Summer: ‘Everything’s Good to Go’ and ‘I Can’t Wait’

As a long-time fan of Spider-Man and Tom Holland‘s captivating portrayal of the iconic character, I can’t help but feel exhilarated by this latest development! Having watched his journey from the very beginning, it’s fascinating to see how far he’s come, both as an actor and as a superhero.

Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man is getting back behind the camera in no time.

On “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” last Tuesday, Holland announced that the fourth “Spider-Man” film is indeed in progress and has an established starting date for production.

Holland stated that we’ll begin filming next summer. Things are all set; we’re almost ready. It’s incredibly thrilling, and I can hardly wait!

In the latest Spider-Man movie by Holland, titled “No Way Home” (2021), his character teamed up with former Spideys Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield – a secret that he had to conceal when he last appeared on Fallon’s show. “You definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, deceived us all professionally,” Fallon remarked. “However, I must admit, it was worth the deception.

Holland described working with Maguire and Garfield as the “peak experience” of his professional journey, and he shared insights on how they managed to conceal the production details from fans for such a prolonged period.

Holland explained that we were living in a sort of enclosed space,” he said. “Tobey and Andrew would arrive on the set as if donning a coat, making it seem straight out of ‘Star Wars.’ It was all quite amusing.

Holland has been making the press rounds recently to promote his new non-alcoholic beer, Bero. While on the “Rich Roll” podcast last week, he revealed he had recently read a draft of the “Spider-Man 4” script with his girlfriend and co-star Zendaya and “it needs work, but the writers are doing a great job.” In September, it was reported that “Shang-Chi” filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton was in early talks to direct the sequel, taking over from Jon Watts who helmed the franchise’s previous three films.

Three weeks back, I went through this piece, and it truly sparked something within me,” said Holland. “Zendaya and I took turns reading it in our living room, and at times, we were so animated that it seemed as if we were preparing for a genuine movie that would live up to the expectations of our fans.
