As a seasoned movie buff with a penchant for tales of friendship, adventure, and the fantastical, I find myself intrigued by the prospect of “Nessie Junior.” Having traversed the globe in pursuit of cinematic gems, from the bustling streets of Mumbai to the serene shores of Loch Ness, I can’t help but be captivated by this high-end animated movie.
Under the title “Nessie Junior,” the inaugural venture of the newly established film sales company, Epsilon, is poised to create a splash. This exciting animated movie will be showcased as a featured project at the American Film Market (AFM), with pre-sales commencing in November, right here in Las Vegas.
The film titled ‘Nessie Junior’ is an advanced computer-generated imagery production, inspired by the legend of the Loch Ness Monster, a mysterious creature that has fascinated visitors in the Scottish Highlands since it was supposedly first sighted. The stunning Loch Ness, with its backdrop of Urquhart Castle ruins, has emerged as a much-loved tourist spot.
The movie showcases a local fisherman named Mylo, who asserts he was assaulted by a monster, and operates a Loch Ness Monster-themed tourist attraction on the lake’s edge. His daughter Kellina, a skeptic, neither buys into her father’s tales nor the legends of Loch Ness… until she encounters a real young Nessie named Fin.
Thus, the story unfolds – a narrative brimming with camaraderie and warning, faithfulness and deceit, laughter and heart-pounding excitement as they embark on their joint mission to unearth the sea creature’s hidden family mysteries submerged in the ocean’s depths. Epsilon makes this announcement.
The creators consist of Matthias Drescher, renowned for “Shifting the Blame” and the Emmy-winning “War of Lies,” together with Ulrich Schwarz, co-producer of Constantin Film’s “Dragon Rider” and the Netflix sci-fi thriller “Stowaway” producer. Robert Chandler, who has produced films like “The Amazing Maurice” and “The Canterville Ghost,” is serving as executive producer.
Initiating the project first is the well-established M.A.R.K.13 animation studio, located in Stuttgart, famed for its contributions to blockbuster movies like “Vic the Viking and the Magic Sword” and “Maya the Bee”. Epsilon Film will collaborate as a co-producer and handle sales.
This movie is being partially financed by the regional film fund called Medienförderung Baden-Württemberg (MFG).]
Epsilon is set to grace the upcoming American Film Market (AFM) and showcase a sneak peek trailer for “Nessie Junior,” kick-starting presales. You can find Epsilon at the Palm Casino Resort in Las Vegas, specifically on the 10th floor, Suite 225, on the given date.
Epsilon is a business partnership formed by Alice von Einem (formerly Buquoy), Julia Weber, and the Beta Group, all of whom previously worked at Global Screen.
