Mike Tyson finally addresses Jake Paul’s $5m fight bet

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience, I must say this upcoming boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul is as exhilarating as the final boss battle in my favorite video game. The build-up, the hype, and the bets – it’s all reminiscent of a high-stakes multiplayer match with millions at stake!

Mike Tyson has given his take on Jake Paul’s $5 million wager ahead of their impending match-up, but his response might not be what Jake Paul was hoping for.

After confirming their rearranged match-up, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have been building anticipation for the event. Despite questions about Tyson’s health and age, there’s just as much enthusiasm surrounding the upcoming bout.

Jake has made it clear that he’s set on fighting Tyson and doesn’t plan to settle for any other contender. With Netflix and AT&T Stadium in Dallas hosting the event, both fighters are expected to receive substantial paychecks.

Nevertheless, since Jake is known for his mischievous ways, he attempted to make the offer more appealing. The ‘Troublemaker’ proposed that Mike could potentially earn an additional $5 million. “Mikey, Mikey,” he suggested on a TikTok posted October 8, “if you can last beyond four rounds with me, I’ll give you an extra $5 million.

The former boxer-turned-YouTuber claimed Tyson was disregarding their wager. But now, ‘Iron’ Mike has responded to him.

“He should offer more,’’ Tyson told USA TODAY Sports. “Tell him probably about 20 (million).”

If Tyson accepts the wager and loses, he’ll be obligated to get a tattoo saying ‘I love Jake Paul’. This is probably the reason he’s asking for extra money in the bet.

Regarding their strategies in the upcoming match, Tyson expressed confidence, stating, “I don’t anticipate him charging directly at me for a full-on battle. Instead, I need to nimbly maneuver and catch him for several rounds.” He shared this insight with USA Today Sports as well.

Regarding Jake, his strategy is to keep the renowned heavyweight boxer off-balance. He shared with the Hollywood Reporter that his plan is to engage from the outside and then use swift footwork to maintain agility, making it difficult for him by constantly evading and forcing the boxer to pursue.
