WestCol topples Adin Ross as Kick’s biggest streamer with new viewership record

As a long-time observer of the dynamic world of streaming, I must say, the shift in the streaming landscape is as exhilarating as a nail-biting match between two formidable rivals. WestCol’s meteoric rise on KICK, overtaking the esteemed Adin Ross and shattering viewership records, is nothing short of spectacular.

WestCol’s Twitch stream has surpassed Adin Ross as the most popular channel, a title he also now holds, and in the process, he set yet another platform record.

Initially, KICK emerged as a fresh competitor against Twitch. Consequently, several streamers who had previously been active on other platforms, such as Amazon’s, decided to migrate over. It was only natural for these streamers to bring a significant chunk of their audience with them, which ultimately helped them gain considerable popularity and become some of the most-subscribed channels.

For me, that’s been my journey ever since I left YouTube and stepped into the spotlight as the main face for the Stake-supported platform. Now, I’m the top streamer they’ve got, consistently attracting some major players to share my gaming experience with them.

Nevertheless, the honor he once held has been taken by WestCol, a previous Twitch streamer. The popular Colombian content creator boasted over 1.5 million followers on Twitch prior to transitioning to KICK.

He regularly streams fights between creators, as well as linking up with different South American celebrities. As a result, he’s now got over 1.6 million followers on KICK, leaving Adin behind by roughly 100k followers.

Following a two-year reign, Adin Ross has relinquished his position as the top streamer on Kick.

Additionally, this Colombian broadcaster not only set a new record but also attracted more than a million viewers, making it the most-watched stream to date.

In the Stream Fighters 3 spectacle on October 20th, he finalized the agreement by hosting a series of streamer battles, much like Ibai’s “Night of the Year” events that incorporate live music alongside the combat.

Hey there! As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to shout-out @westcol for being the pioneer to hit a staggering 1,000,000 simultaneous viewers on Kick. Your faith in our vision from day one has not gone unnoticed. And let me tell you, your efforts in bringing us closer to the amazing LatAm gaming community have been nothing short of commendable. A heartfelt thanks for your support 🙏!

Before WestCol’s latest event, Adin previously held the record for the most-watched stream, which was with former U.S. President Donald Trump. In fact, Adin had referred to it as the largest stream of the year. Yet, he predicted that IShowSpeed or Kai Cenat would receive the Streamer of the Year award.

It’s clear that assertion isn’t accurate anymore. However, it wouldn’t surprise me if he soon attempts to regain control of WestCol from its current holders.
