Keith Lee mocked in viral SNL sketch along with other TikTok stars

As a seasoned social media enthusiast who has spent countless hours scrolling through the endless sea of content, I must say that Saturday Night Live’s latest skit hit the nail right on the head. The parody of popular TikTok personalities like Keith Lee and others was not only spot-on but also surprisingly entertaining.

A recently aired SNL sketch has become widely popular by poking fun at several TikTok users, notably food critic Keith Lee.

If you’ve ever searched for food reviews on TikTok or Instagram, chances are you’ve encountered Keith Lee. This content producer often trends due to his reviews of fast-food chains and local eateries, and his videos frequently aid struggling businesses too.

Since he’s achieved significant online success, many have attempted to replicate his work. However, none have managed to achieve the same level of success as him.

Currently, he’s caught their attention at Saturday Night Live, with the show poking fun at several TikTok users in a fresh comedy skit.

During the October 19th episode of SNL, Keenan Thompson portrayed Keith and said, “Today I’m trying the Hennesy Habanero Fruity Pebbles chicken sandwich from Lisa’s Soul Food in Atlanta, just like a well-known TikTok user might.

“I’m not gonna lie y’all, that’s nasty.”

Fans of the food critic quickly noticed that he wasn’t the sole figure being satirized in the sketch.

In this sketch, characters like The Costco Guys, Nara Smith, Dr. Umar, Alex Bennett from Call Her Daddy, along with various TikTok personas, make an appearance too.

One viewer remarked, “I’m always online to such an extent that it felt familiar.” Another exclaimed, “Amazingly close to reality, this SNL sketch was!” A third added, “It’s so eerily accurate, it feels like I’ve been scrolling TikTok for hours and just opened the app again!

The sketch has, naturally, been shared across TikTok, with some reshares getting over 4 million views. Watching TikTok be mocked while on TikTok? That’s so meta.
