xQc claims Adept demanded $10 million settlement & is suing him again

As a seasoned gamer and avid follower of the Twitch scene, I can’t help but feel a tinge of second-hand exhaustion when it comes to the ongoing saga between xQc and his ex-partner Adept. It seems like they’ve been entangled in a never-ending legal battle since their breakup, with each new twist and turn making headlines more frequently than the latest game updates.

Streamers xQc and Adept find themselves back in court, with Adept allegedly filing another lawsuit against xQc in California. The lawsuit asks for a significant compensation amount of approximately $10 million.

After their breakup, XQC and Adept have found themselves embroiled in a series of ongoing legal disputes.

For more than a year, the ex-pair has been dealing with various legal issues such as filing for divorce, making accusations of sexual misconduct, and arguments over vehicle ownership, among others.

On his Twitch broadcast on October 20, 2024, xQc declared that Adept was once more taking legal action against him and was demanding a $10 million settlement. He initially asserted that this fresh lawsuit mirrors the one Adept had previously filed against him.

Topic starts at 8:50 minute mark

Friends, I find myself at a loss for words here. You might have observed that I took a brief break from our stream for about ten minutes or so yesterday, correct? During this time, I had a quick meeting with my representatives.

It seems that I’m facing another lawsuit, this time in California…Goodness gracious! I’m at a loss for words.

Following the disclosure, xQc expressed a sense of sadness and pondered over why the law permits such instances.

The streamer expressed, “I’ve been feeling compelled to create a lengthy piece, combining music, dance, and passionate discourse about this situation. However, due to its heavy nature, I’m hesitant to share it publicly. It’s simply hard to find the right words; it’s just unfortunate at this stage.

Later on, xQc disclosed that every allegation made in the recent lawsuit was a matter he had previously prevailed in court. He labeled these eight accusations as “ridiculous nonsense.

2022 marked the official end of a long-term, on-again, off-again relationship between xQc and Adept. Since parting ways, they’ve found themselves embroiled in several legal disputes over the subsequent years.

By September 2024, xQc informed his followers that the initial $500,000 lawsuit filed by Adept against him had been dropped.

As I write this, Adept remains silent regarding xQc’s assertions that he has initiated a fresh lawsuit in California, seeking a compensation of $10 million for this particular case.

However, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on the situation as it continues to develop.
