Minecraft DLC and festival coming to Sonic Racing Crossworlds. Release and end dates revealed

Crossovers used to be surprising, but now we see them all the time in games like Fortnite and Call of Duty – much to the frustration of some dedicated fans. However, these collaborations aren’t always unwelcome, especially in games built around the idea of different worlds colliding, like Sonic Racing CrossWorlds. Inspired by Mario Kart, this game is adding characters from Minecraft in a new premium DLC. Along with the DLC, there will be a special limited-time event. Here are the details, including when it starts and ends.

Minecraft DLC in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds. Festival release and end dates

Some games become popular by featuring characters from other franchises, and Sonic Racing CrossWorlds is a prime example. It was designed to include a wide variety of interesting characters, and while it initially focused on SEGA characters, it’s now expanding to include those from other worlds. We’ve already seen Hatsune Miku and Minecraft join the fun, and more content is on the way. A premium DLC and a related festival will be released soon.

SEGA is hosting a Minecraft festival from October 10th at midnight UTC to October 12th at 11:59 PM UTC. To get exclusive in-game items, you’ll need to buy the special Minecraft Pack, unless you already own the Digital Deluxe Edition of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds or have the Season Pass. But you can still enjoy the festival even without purchasing the downloadable content!

I’m already excited for what’s next with this kart racing game – it feels like it’s just beginning! If you want to stay in the loop about all the upcoming events and news, make sure to follow Sonic on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, or TikTok. Have a blast!
