‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Gets Premiere Date on Disney+

As a seasoned cinephile who has witnessed the rise and fall of superhero narratives, the announcement of “Daredevil: Born Again” on March 4, 2025, feels like a breath of fresh air. The news was announced at the “Marvel Fanfare With CB Cebulski” panel at New York Comic Con on Saturday, where “Daredevil: Born Again” stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio made a surprise appearance on stage. During the panel, Sana Amanat, series producer and Marvel Studios production and development executive, joined Marvel editor-in-chief Cebulski to talk about filming Season 1 of “Daredevil: Born Again” in New York City. They also shared a special sneak peek of the series with the audience.

In the official summary of “Daredevil: Born Again”, it’s stated that Matt Murdock, a lawyer who is blind but has extraordinary powers, works tirelessly for justice through his busy law firm. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk, once a crime boss, is now involved in politics in New York City. As their past lives start to resurface, both characters are set on a path that will inevitably lead them towards a head-on collision.

In addition to Cox and D’Onofrio, this new series reintroduces Jon Bernthal as The Punisher, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Poindexter. Joining the cast for the first time are Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Jeremy Earl, and Ayelet Zurer. In this adaptation, Ayelet Zurer assumes the role of Vanessa Marianna-Fisk, a character previously played by Sandrine Holt in the original series.

Dario Scardapane functions as an executive producer, joining the team consisting of Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Christopher Ord, and Matthew Corman, as well as Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. The episodes are overseen by directors Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, David Boyd, along with Benson and Moorhead.
