FaZe Ronaldo banned from Twitch for fifth time

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen countless streamers come and go, but none quite like FaZe Ronaldo. His antics, both on and off-stream, have kept me entertained for hours on end. However, his latest ban from Twitch has left me feeling a tad worried.

On October 19, popular Twitch streamer FaZe Ronaldo was suspended, leaving many viewers puzzled as they sought to understand why this action was taken by the streaming service.

In 2022, popular Twitch streamer StableRonaldo became a member of the professional esports and entertainment group FaZe. After undergoing a restructuring that let go of 17 key streamers from its team in May 2024, StableRonaldo continued his association with the company, having initially been a pro Fortnite player.

This year, Ronaldo has faced a total of five bans on Twitch, with three of them happening this year. His most recent ban occurred on June 27 due to streaming himself driving in a dangerous manner. After apologizing for his actions, he was reinstated on June 30.

At this moment, it’s unclear why Ronaldo was suspended starting from October 19th. Neither party has provided any statements regarding the matter, and visiting his Twitch profile only displays a generic message stating that the channel is temporarily inaccessible due to a breach of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.

At present, it’s uncertain if the ban is due to Ronaldo allegedly demonstrating gambling via a casino app in his live stream, as no official confirmation has been made.

Despite the stated explanation, supporters have responded swiftly by advocating for the release or freedom of the FaZe member.

As a fan, I found myself echoing similar sentiments when I read, “If you don’t release my friend, we’re bound for trouble,” one user posted, while another replied, “He merely played Fortnite with Big Justice.” My heart sank, recalling the series of bans that Ronaldo has encountered.

We’ll update this story with any updates providing an official reason for the ban.

Time will tell just how significantly this suspension may impact Ronaldo’s earnings. Given that he earned approximately $1.2 million during a streaming event in September, it seems doubtful that he will struggle financially, no matter the duration of this penalty.
