How to Watch All the New Holiday TV Movies This Year: Full Schedule

As a seasoned holiday movie enthusiast with a heart for all things festive, let me share my thoughts on this year’s lineup. With a career that spans from “A Sudden Case of Christmas” to the latest releases on Hallmark and Great American Family channels, I can confidently say that there’s something for everyone in these Christmas offerings.

As we dive headfirst into the festive spirit, I’m excited to share that the countdown to a merry and bright holiday season has begun! Starting October 12th, Great American Family is launching their Great American Christmas 2024 extravaganza. Meanwhile, over at Hallmark Channel, they’re gearing up for their annual celebration – the Countdown to Christmas – which will start airing new movies from October 18th, marking the 15th year of this heartwarming tradition. So grab your hot cocoa and get ready to immerse yourself in a world of holiday magic!

In 2023, Hallmark Mystery and Hallmark+ will release 7 more films than they did last year, making a total of 47. On the other hand, Great American Family will air 4 fewer movies this year with 16, and Lifetime remains constant with 12. BET+ is set to broadcast 8 new films this year, while Netflix and UPtv each have 4 new releases, and Hulu has announced 3.

Keep an eye out for additional movie announcements, as we’re still some time away from Halloween. In the meantime, save this page for updates as they roll in. Here’s your comprehensive list of brand-new, original holiday movies set to premiere this season:
