During an interview with comicbook.com at New York Comic-Con on October 17th, Matthew Lillard revealed that filming will commence in just 10 days from now. This implies that production officially begins on October 27, 2024, which is a day earlier than the previously speculated date.
Given the extensive visual effects required for a movie like Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, it’s quite challenging to meet the deadline, as the film is slated for release on December 5, 2025.
In a new development, it’s been announced that Damian Lillard will reprise his role as William Afton, a character choice that likely accounts for the “terrible beard” he sported during a recent convention appearance, as he described to the website.
During an interview while promoting the first part, Emma Tammi hinted at the possibility of a sequel, mentioning: “I’m optimistic that we can make a second installment, and if we do, I believe we’d revisit our mechanical characters. However, I also think we’d encounter some new acquaintances too.
