When is Warzone Ranked Play coming back?

As a dedicated Warzone player with countless hours under my belt, I can’t help but feel a tad nostalgic as Ranked Play has taken a temporary hiatus from our battle royale universe. The thrill of climbing the ranks, the adrenaline rush of competitive play, and the satisfaction of beating my personal best – all have been put on hold until Season 1 of Black Ops 6.

On October 17th, Ranked Mode was taken out from both Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, as their development crews are preparing for the debut of Black Ops 6. However, can’t say for certain when Warzone’s Ranked Mode will return.

As an avid player of Warzone, I can’t help but marvel at the resounding success of Ranked Play, even amidst the challenging circumstances posed by a rampant hacking issue that has surfaced among the highest-ranked players.

Despite some players voicing a preference for ranked matches on the large map, many others continue to persevere daily, striving to surpass their prior rank positions.

Currently, prior to the release of Black Ops 6, and before the integration of the new game into Warzone, the ranked play mode has been taken down. The question remains for how long this will last.

Warzone ranked in BO6 Season 1?

It’s been verified that Treyarch intends to introduce Ranked Play mode for Black Ops 6 by Season 1, but it may not be available right when Season 1 begins.

When is Warzone Ranked Play coming back?

The initial release of fresh content for the game is expected to begin around a few weeks following its launch. It’s worth noting that the existing Battle Pass timer concludes on November 6, two weeks afterwards. However, it may take an additional week or two for the new season to commence. Therefore, it’s likely that the new season will start either on November 13th or 20th.

Typically, the season spans around eight weeks, potentially ending between January 8th or 15th. The competitive play for Black Ops 6 might start at any point within this timeframe, depending on the current plan.

It seems reasonable to assume that the return of Warzone ranked mode might coincide with this change, but neither Treyarch nor Raven Software have officially confirmed it. Therefore, we may need to exercise patience as we await the reintroduction of Warzone ranked play.

It remains uncertain which map will host ranked play next: we’ve seen Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island in the ranked mode, but there’s a possibility that the new Area 99 map might be the one selected.
