As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for superheroes and a deep affection for Rocket League, I can hardly contain my excitement for this year’s Haunted Hallows event! The addition of Spider-Man content is just the cherry on top of an already thrilling game experience.
Similar to numerous other games, Psyonix’s Rocket League is set to receive a Halloween makeover, featuring an assortment of Spider-Man material centered around its iconic characters – both heroes and villains.
The “Haunted Hallows” event commences this Friday, October 18th and continues until November 4th. During this period, participants have an opportunity to accomplish tasks and receive incentives such as Spider-Man villain-themed items like toppers and decals, including designs based on characters like Venom, Mysterio, and Green Goblin.
Fans of Spider-Man might find appealing the Spider-Man Mega Pack (approximately $25 USD), offering a wide variety of items such as a Venom-themed goal explosion, decals for characters like Spider-Gwen and Spider-Punk, a Web-head boost and trail, Spider-Man and Symbiote wheels, a Spidey sense topper, and more. For those interested, here’s a look at everything included in the pack. However, it’s not mandatory to purchase the mega pack as individual items and other bundles are also available for separate purchase.
Besides the usual Spider-Man material, Rocket League will introduce two temporary Halloween modes: Spooky Cube and Haunted Heatseeker for a limited time. In Spooky Cube, the round soccer ball is swapped with a pumpkin-shaped cube, while in Haunted Heatseeker, ghosts take over the field, attempting to grab the ball and score. However, if you block a ghost’s shots, the ball will bounce back toward your own net.
