Ironmouse tops Twitch & YouTube charts for most watched female streamer after massive subathon

As a long-time follower and admirer of the vibrant and captivating world of VTubers, I can confidently say that Ironmouse’s record-breaking subathon has left me absolutely spellbound! Her incredible achievement not only showcases her undeniable charm and charisma but also highlights the ever-growing influence and impact of VTubers on the streaming landscape.

The well-known VTuber, Ironmouse, currently holds the title as the most-watched female streamer on both Twitch and YouTube, largely due to her remarkable subathon that broke numerous records.

On September 1, 2024, Ironmouse kicked off a 30-day fundraising event on her Twitch stream, donating half of her earnings to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

A multitude of supporters rushed to her channel from its inception, swiftly increasing her subscriber numbers, outpacing the milestones achieved by personalities such as Kai Cenat, Ludwig, Ninja, and others.

By September 23, she had amassed the highest number of active subscribers among all streamers. Yet, she didn’t settle for this achievement; instead, she surpassed both Ninja and Ludwig’s lifetime subscriber records.

30th of September was an exciting day for me as Ironmouse broke Kai Cenat’s all-time subscription record! I became one more of the 326,252 subscribers to witness this incredible milestone. It feels amazing to be part of such a rapidly growing community!

Due to her incredible, history-making streaming marathon, Ironmouse now holds the title of the most popular female streamer online.

As reported by Streams Charts, Ironmouse’s live streams garnered a total viewing time of more than 9 million hours from July through September, with her being online for approximately 1,065 hours during this period.

Located not far from Ironmouse, you’ll find three Japanese Virtual YouTubers who broadcast their streams on both YouTube Gaming and Twitch. These popular personalities include Mira, Jinnytty, Emiru, and Kyedae.

During that period, the second-ranked YouTuber, Miko, streamed live for approximately 240 hours, with viewers collectively tuning in for more than 7.86 million hours of her content.

Emerging content maker Mira ranks as the second most viewed Twitch broadcaster, having amassed a total of 5.17 million viewing hours from her live streams that spanned 2,185 hours during the third quarter of 2024.

After wrapping up her lengthy streaming marathon, Ironmouse expressed her thoughts that surpassing Kai Cenat’s record could make VTubers appear more commonplace on the web.

She explained, “It might seem a bit unusual at first glance, like ‘Who is that character? What’s going on?’ However, it contributes to making such content more commonplace.

It seems that Kai Cenat’s upcoming subathon could potentially dethrone the current Twitch record holder (Mouse) for the most subscribers.
