‘The Boys’ Season 5 Casts ‘Stranger Things’ Alum Mason Dye

The specifics about my character are being kept secret for now, but I was hinted at in Season 4 of “The Boys.” Interestingly enough, this character was part of the early Vought superhero film “The Curse of Fu Manchu” back in the 1950’s. So, buckle up, fellow movie enthusiasts, as we delve deeper into the intriguing world of “The Boys!

Reports indicate that Bombsight might make an appearance in the forthcoming prequel series “Vought Rising,” starring Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash. However, neither Amazon nor Sony Pictures Television have confirmed this aspect of the casting process.

In simple terms, Actor Dye has been added as a new, recurring character to “The Boys” for its fifth and final season. Previously, it was announced that Daveed Diggs would also join the show, though his specific role has not yet been revealed.

Dye is perhaps best known for his role in the fourth season of “Stranger Things,” playing Hawkins High basketball star Jason Carver. He is also known for his appearances on the popular MTV series “Teen Wolf” as well as Lifetime’s “Flowers in the Attic,” “My Stepdaughter,” “Stalker’s Prey,” and “The Wrong Son.” He has starred in films such as “Natural Selection,” “Vanished – Left Behind: Next Generation,” and “Truth or Dare.”

The TV show ‘The Boys’ is adapted from the popular comic of the same name written by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
