As a long-time WWE fan, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions when it comes to the Bray Wyatt saga. The Fiend was a captivating character that truly showcased Wyndham Rotunda’s talent and creativity. His reigns as Universal Champion were moments I’ll never forget. However, his abrupt disappearance and eventual release left many of us hanging.
Bray Wyatt’s character, The Fiend, served as an outlet for his darker persona, and with it, he managed to claim the WWE Universal Championship twice. However, following this, the character vanished from our screens, eventually leading to his release in 2021. Known in real life as Wyndham Rotunda, Wyatt reappeared on WWE television with a fresh look, starting a rivalry with LA Knight. Unfortunately, their feud was abruptly ended, leaving many fans puzzled. Tragically, Rotunda passed away in August 2023 at the young age of 36. However, his legacy will continue to live on through a new bundle pack for WWE 2K24.
2K has unveiled a downloadable content (DLC) package featuring an exclusive new appearance for the character known as The Fiend, which was not seen during WWE broadcasts. This design was initially previewed in the Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal documentary, with plans to use it upon Wyatt’s anticipated WWE comeback that ultimately didn’t occur. Collaboratively designed by Wyatt and Jason Baker from Callosum Studios, along with legendary special-effects artist Tom Savini, this mask was meant for Wyatt’s return to the ring.
Three methods exist to acquire extra game content, however, the particular arrangement and labeling can become perplexing.
