Ruby Cruz Signs With Gersh (EXCLUSIVE)

As a long-time admirer of the dynamic world of entertainment, I am thrilled to witness the meteoric rise of Ruby Cruz. Her journey from a timid outsider in “Bottoms” to Disney’s first openly LGBTQ+ princess in “Willow,” and now gracing our screens in the critically acclaimed “The Sex Lives of College Girls” and the upcoming romantic comedy “The Threesome,” is nothing short of inspiring.

Gersh has signed actor Ruby Cruz for representation.

Cruz is most recognized for her role as the shy outcast Hazel in Emma Seligman’s praised comedy “Bottoms,” which featured Rachel Sennott, Emmy-winning Ayo Edebiri, Havana Rose Liu, Kaia Gerber, and Nicholas Galitzine. The movie tells the story of two unpopular students who initiate a fight club as a means to date cheerleaders before their graduation.

Additionally, she was cast as ‘Jess’ in the crime-focused TV series “Mare of Easttown,” starring alongside Kate Winslet, Jean Smart, Sosie Bacon, and Cailee Spaeny.

In the Disney+ fantasy series “Willow,” produced by Imagine Entertainment and Lucas Television, Cruz became Disney’s pioneer openly LGBTQ+ character, portraying Kit Tanthalos. This sequel to the 1988 film of the same name, featuring Warwick Davis, focuses on a group of six heroes who unite in an effort to combat malevolent forces known as the Gales and save their world.

She has also appeared on shows like “Castle Rock” on Hulu, where she portrayed a younger version of Lizzy Caplan, and one episode of the CBS crime-focused series “Blue Bloods.

In the upcoming third season of “The Sex Lives of College Girls” created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, Cruz will make regular appearances. She’s also slated to feature in the romantic comedy film “The Threesome,” alongside Zoey Deutch and Jonah Hauer King, who gained recognition from “The Little Mermaid.” The cast also includes Josh Segarra and Jaboukie Young-White.

In addition to Gersh, Cruz is also represented by Landsburg Management.
