As a seasoned Pokémon GO Trainer with years of battles under my belt, the announcement of Gigantamax Pokémon has sent shivers down my spine! The sheer size and power these beasts possess is truly awe-inspiring, reminding me of the days when Charizard first took flight over my tiny hometown.
Beginning on October 26th, Gigantamax Pokemon are making their debut in Pokemon GO, as revealed by Niantic and The Pokemon Company. This new mechanic is an enhancement of the recently implemented Dynamax feature, which transforms Pokemon’s appearance – and size – during battles. However, Gigantamax Pokemon will only appear during special events and will prove to be quite challenging to conquer.
As a gamer, I’m excited to share that my starting team in this upcoming battle will be Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. Since these guys are quite challenging, it’s suggested to rally at least 9 friends for the Gigantamax fights. On top of these three Gigantamax characters, we’ll also have the debut of Gigantamax Toxtricity in Max Battles during our Pokémon GO Wild Area: Fukuoka event. These events are real-life gatherings offering unique rewards and chances for trainers like us to connect!
