UFC boss Dana White freaks out pulling $10K Neymar card

As a long-time follower of Dana White and UFC, I must admit that his recent pull from a Topps Dynasty box was quite unexpected! Known for his candid and sometimes brash remarks about sports other than MMA, it’s amusing to see him so hyped over a soccer trading card.

Although Dana White may not be particularly fond of soccer, opening a Topps Dynasty box of trading cards recently seemed to change his mind a bit about it.

Dana White, the head honcho at UFC, was taken aback upon discovering a Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior trading card valued at $10,000.

In an exciting video clip that went viral, I carefully revealed a Topps trading card featuring a renowned Brazilian soccer player. Upon noticing the golden detail at the card’s base, my excitement soared! “Oh my goodness!” I couldn’t help but exclaim.

“Get the f*ck out of here! I don’t know a lot about f*cking soccer,” White shouted.

As a gamer, I’d say, “My pal, who isn’t too familiar with Brazilian footballers, pointed out that gold symbol could mean a unique card. ‘Seems like a one-of-a-kind,’ he affirmed.

White, speaking directly into the camera, asserted, “Listen carefully, I believe you know me well enough to understand that this setup is absolutely not manipulated or biased in any way.

As I unwrapped the $10K card, my heart pounded, and I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw it was Neymar. My gaming buddies erupted in disbelief, shouting, “Can’t be! Can’t be!” It felt like I had just struck gold in the gaming world.

“Is it that Neymar guy? I know who this guy is,” White added.

The value of the collectible card showcasing Neymar’s autograph and a fragment of a shirt he wore during a PSG match dramatically increased due to its rarity.

Despite his enthusiasm for playing the “worthy” card, it’s important to note that White himself has admitted to not being particularly fond of soccer in the past.

In a clip from several years ago, White shaded the sport, calling it the “least talented sport on earth.” He added that “there’s a reason three-year-olds can play soccer.”

To be honest, I was among the disgruntled soccer enthusiasts who felt that White’s Topps pull was unjust. Frankly, it didn’t sit well with us common fans to see the already affluent benefiting even more from such a draw.

In spite of facing criticism, White shared on Instagram his intention to gift the Neymar card and a $15,000 Paul Skenes card to someone.
