This renewed attention can be attributed to a combination of real-world events unfolding in their case and Ryan Murphy’s gripping television series, “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.” Premiering on September 19th, this series has been steadily climbing the Netflix charts for four weeks now, currently holding the third spot with a staggering 8.7 million views.
