The anticipated release date for the Madden 25 Week 7 Roster Update is set for Thursday, October 17th. This update usually drops just prior to the Saints versus Broncos match on Thursday Night Football. Generally, EA Sports issues roster updates during this part of the week, but there have been instances where they deviate from this routine.

This weekend, neither the Bears nor the Cowboys will be playing, as they’re the only two teams enjoying a break this week (on BYE). Caleb William’s impressive display in London has given Chicago supporters renewed optimism. His four-touchdown pass completion rate close to 80% is being hailed as one of the top quarterback performances of the week.

For the Cowboys, it’s fortunate that they have a bye week now, as it couldn’t be more timely. Currently sitting at home with a 0-3 record this season, the Cowboys are in a difficult situation and need to figure out how to curb the disastrous predicament they find themselves in. Thankfully, due to Washington’s week 6 defeat against the Ravens, the NFC East division is still up for grabs.

Week 7 kicks off featuring a Broncos-Saints encounter on Thursday Night Football. It also signifies an intriguing duel between rookie QBs Bo Nix and Spencer Rattler. Over the past two weeks, Nix has shown more promise, but he’s had trouble making Denver’s offense run smoother. Rattler had a solid second quarter against the Buccaneers, but was mostly quiet in other parts of the game.

This coming Sunday, running back Saquon Barkley of the Philadelphia Eagles takes on his previous team, the New York Giants. So far this season, Barkley has been performing exceptionally well, but faced challenges against a formidable Cleveland defense. In contrast, the New York defense has conceded an average of 116.3 rushing yards per game this year, placing them at number 15 in the league. Notably, quarterback Jalen Hurts holds a 1-3 record at Metlife Stadium over his career, with two of those losses resulting in six interceptions thrown.

To wrap up Week 7, there are two exciting Monday Night Football matches scheduled. The Baltimore Ravens aim to extend their winning run when they travel to Tampa Bay. Following a substantial victory, Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers will need to be more cautious, as Mayfield tossed three interceptions in the previous week.

Heading to Arizona next, I’m excited to see the Los Angeles Chargers in action against the Cardinals! After breaking a two-match losing streak and tasting victory, we’re eager to carry that momentum forward. The Cardinals, on the other hand, are aiming to restore balance in their record as they strive to stay competitive in the tight NFC West competition. Let’s cheer them on!
