As a seasoned gamer with decades of RPG experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation as NIS America unveils the demo for Ys X: Nordics. The legendary Ys series has been a staple in my gaming library since the days of the original Ys Book I & II on the PC-88.
NIS America has unveiled that a trial version of the game Ys X: Nordics is now accessible for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. The advancement you make in the demo will be transferable to the full game once it’s released on October 25.

NIS America, Inc. is thrilled to let you know that a demo for the highly-anticipated game, Ys X: Nordics, which marks a significant milestone in the renowned Ys series, can now be played on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam. The full game will be released on October 25.
The Ys X: Nordics demo delivers rapid combat, strong offensive and defensive moves in both single player (Solo Mode) and two-player (Duo Mode), powerful elemental attacks through Mana Burst, thrilling sailing experiences, land and sea battles, and much more! Your progress from the demo will transfer to the full game when it releases on October 25.
The special edition titled “Ys X: Nordics” is up for pre-order now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. This limited edition can only be purchased through the NIS America Online Store for $104.99 USD. Each bundle comes with a game copy, soundtrack, mini art book, sling bag, and additional items.
