As a fan who’s been following Deku since his humble beginnings in UA High, I can confidently say that the announcement of My Hero Academia Season 8 has left me both excited and a little teary-eyed. This anime has been a cornerstone of my weekly routine for years now, and it’s hard to imagine a world without new episodes of Deku and his friends saving the day.
Following the grand finale in 2024, My Hero Academia’s eighth season will arrive, offering a tender farewell to long-time fans who have accompanied Deku on his journey for many years.
I’ve got to admit, My Hero Academia has truly revolutionized the world of anime and manga for nearly ten years running! When Kohei Horikoshi brought his manga into the scene, it was an immediate sensation, and the superhero series quickly became a cornerstone of this new era alongside heavyweights like Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer.
However, as every great thing comes to an end, it seems that Season 8 marks the finale of the much-loved anime series. With all the pieces in place, we can’t wait to witness Deku and Class 1-A go head-to-head against Shigaraki and All For One in their final battle.

My Hero Academia Season 8 teaser
The initial teaser of My Hero Academia Season 8 hints at the screen adaptation’s conclusion for Deku and his hero comrades, leaving fans thrilled even without additional footage.
What will happen?
As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled to share that in the eighth season of My Hero Academia, we’ll witness the grand finale – the Battle of Shigaraki and All For One in the Final War Arc, spanning Chapters 399 to 424. The battle, which commenced in Season 7, will resume with the armored Armored All Might squaring off against All For One in a spectacular showdown!
In this scenario, Deku takes his final stand against the main adversary, transforming into a hero who vanquishes evil. This battle is a lengthy one, typical of the climactic fight in a shonen series, and Studio Bones has their hands full ensuring every scene is executed perfectly.
Compared to some other books or series, 25 chapters may not seem like much, but given that this is the climactic part, you can anticipate a deeper exploration of each scene and sequence. This will include additional content exclusive to the anime and modifications to make each moment more substantial.
Is Season 8 the end of the anime?
Indeed, Season 8 marks the conclusion of the main storyline for My Hero Academia. Although further adventures may be explored through side stories or spin-offs like movies and additional series, this is the final season of the anime, aligning with the manga’s ending in 2024.
Where can you watch My Hero Academia Season 8?
In Season 8 of My Hero Academia, you’ll find it streaming on Crunchyroll, much like previous series installments. This means a simultaneous broadcast (simulcast), enabling viewers to enjoy episodes as soon as they air in Japan, week after week.
The dubbed version will then follow soon after.
At this moment, we don’t have any additional information about My Hero Academia’s eighth season. If you’re interested in similar series, check out our guides for Solo Leveling Season 2, Attack on Titan: The Final Attack, and Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 instead.
