Haliey Welch responds to rumors she’s suing Hawk Tuah video creators Tim & Dee TV

As a dedicated fan of Haliey Welch, I must say that I am thoroughly impressed by her grace and poise in the face of rumors and speculation. Her rapid rise to fame with the ‘Hawk Tuah’ interview and subsequent successes – from podcasts to animal advocacy – are nothing short of inspiring.

Haliey Welch dispelled the speculations that she was planning to sue the YouTubers who catapulted her to internet stardom with the Hawk Tuah meme.

In spite of the criticism she received due to her ‘Hawk Tuah’ interview on Tim & Dee TV in June, Hailey Welch’s business is still expanding.

Apart from hosting one of Spotify’s leading podcasts, Welch also employs her voice to champion animal rights through her personal organization, Paws Across America.

With her reputation expanding, whispers that Welch might take legal action against the YouTube creators involved in her ‘Hawk Tuah’ interview, namely Tim Dickerson and DeArius Marlow, started to spread far and wide online.

Despite numerous posts implying that Welch might sue Dickerson and Marlow, the celebrity quelled such rumors.

“Fake news,” she captioned a photo of herself as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde.

Fake news 🥱

Welch effectively quashed any lingering speculation with another tweet, stating, “If I were to take legal action, it would be made public. Yet, it seems some are still pursuing their ‘clout’.

If I sued it would be public but I guess clout is being chased 🤣

Although Welch stated that she was not filing a lawsuit against the YouTubers, Marlow implied differently. In a TikTok post, he commented, “It’s not fake news; instead, I’m uploading a video on YouTube with all the evidence.

He confirmed that you are.

Last month, Hawk Tuah – a popular phrase coined by Welch – was applied for trademarking. Her intention is to utilize this catchy term for various kitchen seasonings such as barbecue sauce and hot sauce.

Despite appearing a step ahead of Dickerson and Marlow, the YouTubers revealed to The New York Times that without their efforts, the public may have remained unaware of the identity of Welch.

In simpler terms, Marlow stated, “By the close of events, she would be unknown to all if we hadn’t shared and publicized it. Many spectators who weren’t familiar with us before assumed our success stemmed solely from that one clip. It seemed as though they didn’t realize we already had a stage in the first place.

Despite Marlow’s claim that more information about the lawsuit would be shared on YouTube, Welch appears unfazed by it.

Supporters of hers remained steadfast in their backing, with numerous individuals queueing to greet her at Dreamhack Atlanta during her debut live stream on Kick.
