As a dedicated fan of LittleBigPlanet since its inception, I must admit that the news about LittleBigPlanet 3 and all DLC being pulled from the PlayStation Store later this month has left me feeling like a sackful of emotions. The game has been an integral part of my gaming life, providing countless hours of creative fun and endless joy.
Later this month, LittleBigPlanet 3 and all related DLC will no longer be available for purchase on the PlayStation Store. This announcement was made across the game’s social media platforms by its creators, Media Molecule, who shared this difficult news with the LittleBigPlanet community.
More recently, fans had a chance to appreciate Sackboy being featured in Team Asobi’s Astro Bot game, where players could obtain an adorable bot modeled after him last month. Even though the game gained more popularity since its release, Sony has announced that they will be discontinuing it and its additional content. Additional details about purchasing the game can be found on their official site.
According to the creator of LittleBigPlanet series, the original game, LittleBigPlanet 3, and its additional content will no longer be available for purchase on the PlayStation Store starting October 31st, 2024. This means that fans should grab the game and any related downloadable content from the store before it disappears forever.
An important update on LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS4) and LittleBigPlanet DLC on the PlayStation Store:

If you already possess or plan to buy LittleBigPlanet 3 or any of its downloadable content (DLC) before it’s taken off the market, you’ll still be able to play the games and access the content even after it’s no longer for sale. Just a friendly heads-up: if you or anyone else in the community, or newcomers who might want to own a digital copy of LittleBigPlanet 3 or any currently available DLC – this is your final opportunity to do so before it disappears from the market!
In April 2024, the servers for LittleBigPlanet on PlayStation 4 were shut down due to persistent technical issues that had been ongoing since January 2024. This move turned off all online services, although offline play remained possible. Local user-generated content (UGC) could still be accessed individually, but it couldn’t be shared with other players for them to enjoy and interact with.
