As a seasoned gamer who has navigated through countless virtual worlds, I can confidently say that Tell Me Lies Season 2 is not just another game, it’s a gripping emotional rollercoaster. The storyline, much like the characters, is complex and twisted, keeping me hooked from episode to episode.
In simple terms, the final episode of Season 2 for the show “Tell Me Lies” is approaching, as the situation becomes increasingly intense. This highly-strung series on Hulu and Disney Plus is nearing its dramatic conclusion.
According to Carola Lovering’s book, “Tell Me Lies” focuses on the complex and damaging romance between characters Lucy (played by Grace Van Patten) and Stephen (portrayed by Jackson White).
The binge-worthy show’s first season ended with one hell of a bombshell. We saw Stephen ditch Lucy at a college party with his ex-girlfriend Diana (Alicia Crowder) – however, in the present, we found out he was engaged to her childhood best friend, Lydia (Natalee Linez).

What happened in Episode 7?
In Episode 7, things became quite chaotic. Bree and Oliver didn’t just share an intimate moment in Marianne’s home, but also confessed their feelings for each other impulsively. Pippa and Wrigley had a disagreement, which they later resolved, so all is well there. As usual, Stephen displayed some questionable behavior. To top it off, at the end of the episode, Marianne showed up in class wearing Bree’s earrings (oh my!).
It’s been noted that Marianne seems to be making references to “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”, indicating she might be hiding something. One Reddit user suggested, “It appears Marianne has known the truth all along and is playing her own secret game.
“Did Oliver gift Bree’s earrings to Marianne when she found them or is she wearing them in front of Bree as a f**k you?!” another asked, to which one user said: “I have a feeling Marianne knows.”
Before the grand finale next week, there’s a great deal to take in, but Episode 8 might just turn out to be the most intense and emotional episode we’ve seen so far in this series.

Will there be a Tell Me Lies Season 3?
While an official announcement for Season 3 hasn’t been made yet, the creators of Tell Me Lies, specifically Meaghan Oppenheimer, and the show’s producers are eager to carry on with the story following Season 2.
According to Oppenheimer, I found Season 2 easier to predict from the start. On the other hand, Season 3 seems like unexplored ground with plenty of possibilities. (He said this to DC Film Girl.)
It seems to me that some characters should receive justice, which I believe is essential for Season 3. I’m convinced there’s always room for further exploration of the story.
In other words, we’ll just have to wait, hope, and see.
