The intricate what-if scenarios and unique character stories have me hooked, and unlocking their Sparking Episodes is like solving a puzzle.

Hey there! As a dedicated fan of the Dragon Ball universe, I can’t help but get excited about the latest addition to our favorite series – Dragon Ball Sparking: Zero! This game, following in the footsteps of legendary installments like Budokai Tenkaichi, is bursting with original fighters. And let me tell you, it wouldn’t be a true Dragon Ball experience without characters like Goku, Vegeta, or Gohan gracing our screens.

How to Unlock Goku’s Sparking Episodes in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

  1. Chapter 1 – decide to help Piccolo in the mission “The Earth’s Mightiest Duo”, then defeat Raditz as quickly as possible in the mission “Rematch and Result”. To do this, it’s best to charge Sparking Mode and attack the enemy. Once you defeat Raditz, you will unlock the “Pushing The Limit” Arc.
  2. Chapter 1 – instead of joining forces with Piccolo, you have to fight Raditz on your own. As before, you must quickly defeat him to unlock the “Side by Side” mission.
  3. Chapter 3 – this is the culmination of the what-if story. In the mission “Hyperbolic Time Chamber,” you must help Piccolo fight Cell, and ultimately defeat Android 16.

How to Unlock Vegeta’s Sparking Episodes in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

  1. Chapter 2 – during the “Wind-Up Doll” mission, you will have to defeat Android 18 in an unspecified, but definitely short, time, instead of just surviving this fight. You will then unlock the “Parental Bond” Sparking Episode, in which, similar to before, you will have to defeat Super Trunks in a short time in the “Vegeta and Trunks” mission.
  2. Chapter 3 – in the mission “Vegeta’s Wicked Heart”, Babidi will try to take control of you. You must choose to shake it off and not let yourself be taken over. This will unlock the “Number One Spot” episode.

How to Unlock Gohan’s Sparking Episodes in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

  1. Chapter 5 – you must defeat Frieza’s soldiers at a very fast pace and inflict as much damage on them as possible in the “Defend Earth from the Frieza Force!” mission. This will then unlock “The Strongest Warrior” Sparking Episode.

How to Unlock Piccolo’s Sparking Episodes in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

  1. Chapter 2 – in the mission “Piccolo Returns to his Birthplace”, defeat Frieza as fast as you can. This will grant you access to the “Piccolo’s Struggle” mission.
  2. Chapter 3 – when you are faced with the choice between helping Goku or watching his fight with Android 19 in the mission “Faint Unease,” choose to support him in the duel. Doing so will unlock the episode “A Mentor’s Guidance”.

How to Unlock Future Trunks’ Sparking Episodes in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

  1. Chapter 6 – when doing the final Future Trunks mission called “Trunks’ Choice,” you must defeat Vegeta, Piccolo and Gohan quickly. This task is very difficult, so if you have trouble with it, use Dragon Orb. If you manage to win against each of them in a very short time, in the mission “Father or Teamwork?” choose to follow Vegeta.
  2. Chapter 6 – when you are faced with the choice of whether to follow Vegeta, instead choose to follow Gohan. After unlocking the “Twisted World” mission, defeat your opponents in the shortest possible time. This will give you access to the “Shining Hope” Arc, in which all you have to do is to win against your enemies.

How to Unlock Frieza’s Sparking Episodes in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

  1. Chapter 5 – reach the “Frieza Revived” mission and defeat Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan Blue Forms in quick succession. You will then unlock the “Frieza Force Joins The Fray” Arc. You will face many choices and endings here, however, to unlock the Sparking Episode, pick King Cold and use him as a team member.

How to Unlock Goku Black’s Sparking Episodes in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

  1. Goku Black’s Saga – in the mission “Act Three Begins” instead of just surviving, you must defeat both Goku and Vegeta in a short period of time. Then you will unlock the “Proof of Justice” Sparking Episode mission.

How to Unlock Jiren’s Sparking Episodes in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

  1. Jiren’s Saga – during the “Saiyan Rampage” mission, you have to wait and see what happens to Kale, so don’t finish her off. You will then unlock the “True Strength” Sparking Episode.
