Amber Midthunder is primarily recognized for her leading part in the movie “Prey” within the “Predator” series, which debuted in 2022. The television series titled ‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters’ is about two siblings pursuing their father’s footsteps to explore their family’s mysterious link to the enigmatic organization called Monarch. After a fierce fight between Godzilla and other titans in San Francisco that left the city in ruins, and the stunning disclosure that monsters exist, the story follows these siblings on their journey into the monster world and eventually to Army officer Lee Shaw (portrayed by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell). Set in the 1950s and half a century later, the narrative unfolds when Monarch is under threat due to what Shaw knows. This captivating tale — which spans three generations — uncovers buried secrets and illustrates how monumental, world-altering events can echo through our lives.

The series “Monarch” was jointly developed by Chris Black and Matt Fraction, who not only created it but also oversee its production as executive producers and showrunners. Additionally, Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell from Safehouse Pictures, along with Matt Shakman, Andrew Colville, and Jen Roskind, serve as executive producers. Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita take on the role of executive producers for Toho Co., Ltd., the company that owns Godzilla, while Legendary Entertainment holds the rights to this character due to their association with Toho in the Monsterverse film franchise.

In April, “Monarch” was brought back to life, with Apple and Legendary Entertainment agreeing to produce several spin-offs. This is another step in expanding the Legendary Monsterverse, which has been thriving since the release of movies like “Godzilla,” “Kong: Skull Island,” “Godzilla: King of the Monsters,” “Godzilla vs. Kong,” and “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
