One Piece Chapter 1129 reveals the identity of “fake” Sun God

As a long-time One Piece fanatic who’s witnessed countless twists and turns, I must say that Oda never ceases to surprise us. The latest revelation about the Sun God being none other than Road has left me utterly astounded! This character’s actions are as unpredictable as a storm at sea – refusing to join the Grand Fleet, kidnapping half of the Straw Hat crew, and pretending to be the Sun God. It’s like watching a rollercoaster ride with too many loops and twists!

In the latest chapter of One Piece, another character is revealed as a Sun God, but it’s later discovered that this individual is actually a fraud. Here’s what unfolds in Chapter 1129.

In Chapter 1126, the epic journey of One Piece, the Land of Gods, began, transporting the Straw Hat team to an uncharted destination. Remarkably, six members (Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper) are conspicuously absent, while the remainder of the crew is accompanying Bonney, Lilith, and the Giants.

As I step into this colossal world teeming with gargantuan arthropods and uncharted perils, my teammates and I find ourselves in an unfamiliar awakening, clad in Viking garb. We gather our wits about us, pooling our collective intellect to decipher our circumstances. Then, we’re introduced to a puzzling deity of the sun, setting the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable adventure.

It turns out that the character disguising himself as a Sun God, as revealed in Chapter 1129, is actually Road. This colossal figure hails from Elbaf and served as the navigator for the New Giant Warrior Pirates under Hajrudin’s command. You might recall Hajrudin being introduced during the Dressosa Saga.

Oda’s a mastermind.

At the Colosseum Arena, he was among the combatants vying for the Mera Mera no Mi. Following Luffy’s life-saving act, Hajrudin became a part of the Straw Hat Pirates’ grand alliance, which didn’t sit well with Road. There’s speculation that Road may have departed from the crew and assumed the role of the Sun God, but we can’t confirm this fact just yet.

Audience members are perplexed by this character’s behavior, as one supporter puts it, “He won’t unite with the High Command Fleet, abducts several SH team members, acts like a Solar Deity. What on earth is his motivation?!

Another user explains, ‘This is the reason Oda is considered the GOAT [Greatest of All Time]. He strategically includes key elements in his work that become significant later on.’

Absolutely, the recent spoilers are quite astonishing! The unveiling of the Sun God left me utterly amazed, and Luffy using Gear 4 never fails to impress. I can’t wait for next week to roll around even more! Another person adds.
